| This is a 7" plate with 14k gold
trim. The picture, drawn by a guy I used to ride with.
It was on rte119 up by Petosky, MI. I was
driving my '85 Wing and he was driving a
900 Yamaha Special. Rte119 is a great hilly
road with lots of sharp curves. He had the
lead and was really making me push that Wing.
It was a great ride and when we stopped for
a break, I couldn't remember his name and
I kept calling him, Bob or Steve. Hethought
it was so funny, he drew this cartoon showing
me (on the left) stuttering out names. He is a wonderful artist and these two cartoon
figures are a good comical likeness of the
two of us. |
