And Other Cool Stuff from Family & Friends

Mr. Yobo

I started riding regularly in 1968 when a buddy of mine let me ride his bike. I was hooked instantly. I went right out and bought my first "real" motorcycle. A 1968 Honda CBR 350. I rode that little bike all over the country. No windshield, no stereo or cruise control. I lived in Detroit at that time.   and it was nothing for my buddy and me to hop on our 350's on a Friday night after work and drive down to Wheeling, West Virginia to our favorite restaurant down there, get some food, drink some coffee and head back home. We'd get back just in time for work Monday morning. Oh..to be 21 years old again.  Now I live in Commerce Township, Mi and I drive a 2004 Honda Goldwing with a Lehman Trike Conversion!! Not only is it beautiful, it's a thrill to ride, offering new and exciting challenges only another "triker" can know about. I tell ya, with a beautiful wife who loves to ride as much as I love to drive and living in this Great Country of ours that has a million miles of great roads to cruise on, I am truly a lucky man!

This is a picture of me on my new trike, Mr. Yobo. Soon,

I will replace this picture with one of me and Peg.

I have never been as happy as I am when I'm cruising

with my wife Peg sitting behind me in the passenger

seat. She is my Soul Mate and when we are riding together,

we share a special closeness. Being able to reach back

and touch her leg, hear her voice in the intercom..it just

doesn't get any better than that!  I've put her through

some really rough times with my many illnesses and

we both know those times are far from over but together

we form an unbeatable team.  As long as we both can laugh

when things are tough and still find the time to ride, we'll be

OK.  Now that my daughter Julie is back in my life I have

an even stronger reason to stay well.  I started riding a

trike because I can't hold up a two wheeler any more but I

still get the same thrill of taking a good curve and feeling

the wind rush past my face.

This is my wonderful Peg and I trying to get a break from the sun that was blistering down upon us down in California.  That's my Peg.  Never complains. Here we had just gone shopping with my daughter Julie and we are looking for a decent place to go to get something nice and cool to drink.

Happiness is Peggy Text
